Barry’s case continues, but does it look like he might’ve finally caught a break?
I am really enjoying this story thus far. It’s the perfect amount of complicated and characters. I like the feeling of almost foreboding for Barry’s life that something is going to happen soon – either to him, or to someone he cares about – all because of this case and its franticness.
I am getting a little impatient, however, in waiting for the explanation of the whole ‘Future Flash’ business. It’s interesting, and I love it, but I’m not sure how it ties into the current murder case, and Wally. And while I think that is taking too long, I also found the introduction of the Seborn character and his role in the story a little too quickly.
I continue to enjoy Brett Booth’s pencils on this title, but I think it wouldn’t be as great as it is without Norm Rapmund and Andrew Dalhouse’s inks and colors. The three of them together really are a dream team, and I am enjoying every bit of work they’re putting out right now.
Flash keeps getting later and later to scenes, and I have a feeling Barry’s going to be feeling the pain of that real soon.
