Tune in live Thursday from 9pm est

LISTEN: It’s episode 65 of our podcast: ‘My voice is my passport. Verify me.’

June 27th, 2013 by Marc Comments

Another packed show this week as Marc is joined in the studio by the one, the only… Stephen or as we all know him… SAXON!

Yes, we have two awesome guests this week as we are joined by Adam from Wednesday’s Finest toy company and he talks about the work involved in getting the gorgeous new figure Shaolin Cowboy from idea to on the shelves… and a hint about what’s next.

Next up we have one of Hollywood’s hardest workers on the show, Mr Kevin Sizemore, who talks about meeting Joss Whedon, being beaten by 24 and what it’s like living under Stephen King in the new series Under The Dome.

News wise, we pay tribute to the great James Gandalfini, the actor best known for his work on The Sopranos, and what a loss he is.

We get Stuart on from the Monday Movie Show to go through the UK Box Office chart and he fills in for the Bald Gamer Dude, Alan, as he goes through what’s hot and not in this week’s gaming world.

Saxon gets into Man Of Steel and shares why he didn’t think it was as awesome as Marc thought it was and, fair’s fair, he makes so goo points.

Plus it all gets a little Star Wars as we get excited about going to Celebration Europe next month in Essen, Germany, especially now that we know Mark Hamill, yes Luke Skywalker himself, will be there.. oh, yes!

There’s all this plus sooooooooo much more.

So chill out, tune in and relax. You Nerd it here first.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
