Lizzy Caplan has told ComingSoon.net that she doesn’t think she will appear regularly on the upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D television series.
The actress, who has a starring role as Claire in the “Marvel One-Shot” short film “Item 47″ when Marvel’s The Avengers hits DVD and Blu-ray next week, said she has her own commitments at the moment but could be involved in some small way.
“I have my own show so I will not be a regular on the Marvel ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ show,” she said. “But I’m glad people are so excited about that. I think it’s a good idea… Maybe I could do some little thing.”
Joss Whedon has said he plans to produce the series as well as write and direct the pilot episode.
