With the tragic shootings at the recent Batman movie in Aurora, Colorado, it came as no surprise that the premiere was cancelled and now Catwoman herself, Anne Hathaway, has added her condolences to the outpouring of public sympathy for the tragedy. Both Christian Bale and director Christopher Nolan have expressed their horror at the events.

In a statement, Anne said that her thoughts and prayers were with the victims and their families. As a mark of respect, both the Japanese and Mexico premieres have also been cancelled in the wake of the shootings. The alleged shooter James Holmes is currently in police custody.
