Michael Bay has denied that Mark Wahlberg could be set for a role in Transformers 4.
The rumour started after Twitch reported that he was interested in re-teaming with his Pain & Gain leading man.
However, in a short statement on his website, Bay said it wasn’t true.
“The Mark Wahlberg T4 rumor is just a rumor,” he said. “Mark and I are talking about another film project.”
Transformers 4 is currently in development set for a June 27, 2014 release.
