Bond author to get his own big screen adventure

Moon director Duncan Jones is set to direct a movie based on the life of James Bond author Ian Fleming (above).

According to Empire Magazine, Jones will focus on the events in Fleming’s own life that inspired his books.

“Fleming lived through one of the most perilous periods in world history, in a position that allowed him a unique vantage point of all the players, all the stakes,” said Jones. “He witnessed true heroism first-hand. And he saw the evil men could do. Then, when the war ended, he went off to write fiction. The essential question for me is: where did Ian Fleming end and Bond begin?”

The screenplay is based on Andrew Lycett’s biography Ian Fleming, The Man Behind James Bond.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
