Celebration Europe 2013 announced! Plus new Clone Wars trailer & Eps 2 & 3 3D news

August 26th, 2012 by Marc Comments

Star Wars Celebration is the be all and end all for Star Wars fans and Celebration Europe II has just been announced at Celebration VI for next July! And that’s not all…

Yes, those of us couldn’t make it to Florida have been sent a ray of hope for next July 26th – 28th as Celebration returns to Europe. Messe Essen, Germany is the place. No ticket release dates announced yet, but keep an eye on the official site here.

Now, we’ve caught our breath we can also tell you that Lucasfilm announced today that Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith will be released theatrically in 3D back-to-back on September 20, 2013 and October 11, 2013.
We know many were disappointed by the Episode I 3D release, but I liked the 3D transfer, although the movie is still deeply flawed. But I, for one, am looking forward to this…

And the last fun piece? Well, how about an awesome new trailer for Clone Wars Season 5? Oh, and watch for the new air date and time at the end.

Man, thirty five years later and I still LOVE being a Star Wars fan!

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
