Chronicle director denies Fantastic Four link

January 28th, 2012 by bash Comments

SuperHeroHype bagged an exclusive chat with Chronicle director Josh Trank this week to discuss rumours he will helm a new Fantastic Four film.

As reported earlier this month, 20th Century Fox want him to take a chance on the franchise which was last seen in the cinema back in 2007 with Fanastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

“I know as much as you guys know. I’m totally serious. I know as much as you,” Trank told the website. “I saw that leak online and I was like, ‘Um, okay, I’m trying to finish Chronicle right now’. This is weird. There’s nothing to say, Chronicle is exactly the kind of superhero movie that I wanted to make and, going forward, I want to have some original ideas and different things I’m working on.”

So while Trank didn’t deny an approach from the studio it seems nothing has been confirmed as yet.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
