Deadline are reporting that Cloverfield director Matt Reeves could be in line to helm Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.
20th Century Fox has come up with a short list of potential replacements following the departure of Rupert Wyatt.
Also on the list are with the likes of J. Blakeson, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, Jeff Nichols, Guillermo del Toro and Juan Antonio Bayona.
Wyatt allegedly stepped down from the role over claims he was uncomfortable about making the late May 2014 release date.
