Cronenberg set for the small screen

March 13th, 2012 by bash Comments

David Cronenberg (above) is set to bring the tale of an 18th century surgeon to the small screen, the Hollywood Reporter has said.

Knifeman, based on the biography, “The Knife Man: Blood, Body-snatching and the Birth of Modern Surgery” by Wendy Moore, will tell the tale of John Hunter who rose to become the most famous anatomist and surgeon of his time.

Cronenberg will direct the pilot with a script from Rolin Jones (Friday Night Lights) and will also executive produce alongside Jones, Sam Raimi, Josh Donen and Robert Zotnowski

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
