Vulture is reporting that The CW is looking at bringing Wonder Woman to the small screen.
Allan Heinberg, who has written Wonder Woman comics in the past, has been approached to write the script which bears the working title ‘Amazon’.
While there is no pilot or series commitment yet, Heinberg has been asked to work on a script.
Vulture says the show “will focus on Wonder Woman as a young, budding superhero, rather than a fully formed defender of liberty”.
Sounds very Smallville to us, which certainly isn’t a bad thing!
