DC Nation going on hiatus until January

October 15th, 2012 by Christopher Williams Comments

DC Nation fans woke up today not to the third episode of the popular cartoon block, but to How To Train Your Dragon. In response Cartoon Network tweeted the above message.

Can you believe that?! After already being on hiatus and coming back for only two weeks, Cartoon Network has decided to put the DC Nation block on hiatus until January. Fans are in outrage at this move, myself included. What kind of bonehead move is this and what exec at CN thought this would be a good idea?

Artemis and Kaldur are deep undercover in Black Mantas organization. Kaldur was being introduced to the secret consortium The Light. The Anti-Monitor has invaded the Green Lantern universe, and guess what? You have to now wait until January to find out how this will all play out. Not only that but Cartoon Network has slapped us all in the face by making this announcement after not airing these shows on Saturday morning. That’s right. No warning before this decision was made, just dragons and how to train them.
If you are as upset about this as I am bomb CN’s Twitter feed with your disapproval. Blanket their Facebook page. Voice your disapproval.  Write letters if you still do that kind of thing. There’s also a link here to sign a petition online.  Cartoon Network must know that their are legions of fans who are in anger. January is forever from now to wait for shows that just returned from hiatus.
