Actor Vin Diesel has released a new image from the forthcoming Riddick.
The movie star has also seen a first cut of the movie and said he was deeply “affected by it.
Writing on his Facebook page, he said: “You know I like to let you in on things, even before Hollywood knows… Haha… Last night I was invited in to the editing room, to see the first cut of the new Riddick… WOW!!! P.s. I was so affected/excited… I couldn’t sleep. GRRRR!!!”
Written and directed by David Twohy, the new film sees the infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered.
The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.
