Producer Frank Marshall, husband of new Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, has revealed that the director search for Star Wars: Episode VII is now down to “a couple of candidates”.
Speaking to MTV News, Marshall revealed that while the list is down to just a few he didn’t know how soon the rest of the world will know who has been chosen.
Meanwhile, one of the men tipped to direct the new sequel has spoken to the Huffington Post about his name being mentioned in directing “it”.
“A lot would depend on what ‘it’ is. I am very glad to see Lucasfilm cranking up to get productive again, regardless of who ends up doing it,’ he said.
