The first image of Denzil Washington as Trench from the comic 2 Guns has made its way online.
The actor will play a DEA agent alongside Mark Wahlberg as Steadman (a naval officer), who team up to rip off the mob, for the big screen adaptation. Neither realises the other is undercover nor that they’re actually being set up to steal from the CIA.
Baltasar Kormakur is directing the film which is described as “a light-hearted crime romp in the vein of Ocean’s Thirteen and The Italian Job”.
It will co-star Edward James Olmos, Paula Patton, Bill Paxton and James Marsden.
