Former X-Men stars to reprise roles

December 5th, 2012 by bash Comments

THR is reporting that stars from the original X-Men trilogy could be returning for the sequel to First Class.

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan are already poised to return as Professor X and Magneto, respectively, and late last week Hugh Jackman entered talks to reprise his role as Wolverine in Days of Future Past.

Now it is being reported that Halle Berry and James Marsden, among others, could also be returning.

The complex storyline involves time travel, alternate timelines, and a dystopian future and as such it was expected that we could see some original X-Men returning.

THR reports that the story “will straddle the 1960s setting established in 2011’s X-Men: First Class and the future of the original trilogy, where mutants are a hunted minority”.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be directed by Bryan Singer and opens on July 18, 2014.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
