Jamie Foxx has expressed his excitement at playing a villain in The Amazing Spider-Man sequel.
While the actor has yet to officially sign on the dotted line to play Electro, it is all but confirmed for Marc Webb’s forthcoming film.
Speaking to Access Hollywood the actor said: “Fingers crossed it all works out. I have a little daughter, four years old, and what’s crazy is like, this past year she had a birthday where Spider-Man was the theme… I haven’t sprung it on her yet, but she will go crazy!”
Electro, real name Max Dillon, first appeared in 1964’s “The Amazing Spider-Man” #9, and he has the power to control electricity.
The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will be released on May 2, 2014.
