I’m running into the same issue over and over with these Watchmen prequels, they retread material we already know. This book is no exception.
We get a rehashing of his origins, his childhood and the infamous Crimebusters meeting where Dr. Manhattan meets the Silk Spectre. The twist here is that since time is always in motion, like the future, things can always change.
Honestly, almost nothing happened here until the end. And even then it’s not a very stand out moment. After waiting for this book for so long I’m not even sure if I’ll give #2 a chance.
