Garbage Pail Kids to make big screen return

March 13th, 2012 by bash Comments

For everyone who grew up in the 80s – do you remember the Garbage Pail Kids?

If you do then this story should awaken those childhood memories, because a movie is being made about these dolls/trading card figures.

Deadline is reporting that PES, an artist best known for his short films, will direct an all-new feature-length adaptation through The Tornante Company.

Garbage Pail Kids offered gross-out character designs based on simple puns in the mid-80s. The original The Garbage Pail Kids Movie was directed by Rod Amateau and featured dwarf actors in puppet costumes as the Garbage Pail kids themselves.

No word on what shape this new movie will take but we’re keen to find out more.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
