Many Batman fans were disappointed to say the least, when it was revealed that Warner Bros. wanted a younger actor to voice Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins. I have to be honest I wasn’t going to buy the game, not immediately anyway. To me Kevin Conroy is Batman!

But Kevin Conroy was on a panel at Dallas Comic Con this weekend and confirmed that he will indeed be voicing Batman again in Batman: Arkham Origins. Conroy said he’s been working on the game for the past nine or ten months but that he couldn’t talk much about it, due to contracts he signed. Conroy stated that it’s an amazing game with a huge cast and big story. He goes on to speak about Batman the animated series and his take on Batman. It’s all great stuff enjoy!

Stay with FTN as the full trailer is set to drop Monday May 20.

UPDATE: Today May 20th, the voice actors were announced by Warner Bros.

Roger Craig Smith is the voice of young Batman. Smith has been in the business for a long time, voicing characters like Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed and Chris Redfield from Resident Evil.

Troy Baker, the voice of Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, will take on the new voice of The Joker. Baker has also done work in games like Mass Effect 3 and Catherine, and plays Joel in Naughty Dog’s upcoming The Last of Us.

Kevin Conroy as you can tell by the above tweet is in an upcoming game not Arkham Origins, perhaps Rocksteady’s Arkham 3?
