TV Guide is reporting that Lifetime are gearing up for a series based on The Silence of the Lambs character, FBI Agent Clarice Starling.
Simply titled Clarice, the show will focus on a young Starling and her adventures fresh of out the FBI Academy.
The news comes as NBC prepare to premiere a full season of Hannibal, based on Thomas Harris’ famous fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter.
Clarice Starling is best known through the portrayal that Jodie Foster gave in 1991’s feature adaptation of The Silence of the Lambs. The role was later played by Julianne Moore in Ridley Scott’s followup, Hannibal in 2001.
