The Inbetweeners could be returning for a surprise fourth series.
The show, which tells the tale of schoolboys Will, Simon, Neil and Jay, will be making a comeback after the recent success of their big screen debut.
However, James Buckley, who plays Jay, has suggested that one of the characters may be killed off.
“We have to see what happens,” he told the Daily Star. “Maybe one of them dies and the other three have to join up for the funeral.”
According to the British tabloid, the new series would see the boys starting at college or going on in their working lives.
The recent film version of the show made £45 million at the box office, despite a production budget of just £3.5 million.
