Is this video proof of ancient aliens? Emmmmmmmmm…

March 2nd, 2012 by Marc Comments

With us now in 2012 and on an unwavering path towards December 21, the world waits with baited breath.. will we all die in a fiery,  sun coronal eruption? Will aliens land on the starship/planet Niburu and enslave us all? Will nuclear armaggeddon claim us all? Could Michael Bay’s latest special effect accidentally engulf the planet in a cgi/explosive nightmare? All unlikely to be honest…

However, there is a lot of mythology behind the apparent end of the Mayan calendar and the fact that it abruptly ends this December. It is also well known that the Mayans were far advanced for their time, that they made incredible discoveries – chocolate, thank you – and many people wonder where the knowledge came from.

Was it aliens? Hmmmmmmm… we don’t want to go out on a limb and resoundingly announce Yes! Well, we do but that would get weird and we could be disowned by you, constant readers. However, there does seem to be evidence throughout the ancient world that there was technologies around that we have no knowledge of. At all.

Now, this video has popped up online and the argument is that it irrefutably points out that aliens were in contact with the Mayans. And, on the face of it, it certainly does, however… it all looks very fabricated to us. We smell the hand of photoshop and lies in it.

Don’t get us wrong, the day something like this emerges beyond a shadow of a doubt we’ll be the first to shout from the roof tops, but sadly we just don’t see the hand of ET in this. Watch it and let us know what you think..

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
