Ridley Scott has said he hopes to have Harrison Ford in a cameo role for his planned sequel to Blade Runner.
The Prometheus director, speaking to The Independent newspaper in the UK, said the 69-year-old would not, however, play a leading role but more of a guest spot.
“I don’t think it’ll be Harry [starring],” he said. “But I’ve got to have him in it somewhere. That’d be amusing.”
Scott’s involvement in the sequel was revealed in March last year and followed his decision to return to science fiction film-making after three decades with Prometheus.
Blade Runner was based on the 1968 Philip K Dick novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and was released in 1982.
