Khan won’t be Trek villain: Pegg

May 30th, 2012 by bash 2 Comments

The villain in Star Trek 2 will NOT be Khan Noonien Singh.

That is according to Simon Pegg who told British newspaper The Telegraph the rumour was a “myth”.

“Everyone’s saying it is, but it’s not,” he added.

Rumors have been circulating that Benedict Cumberbatch would be playing Khan after bagging a role in the sci-fi sequel over Benicio Del Toro.

However, it seems fans will have to speculate further into who the new villain will be.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, details on Star Trek 2 are scarce, though returning cast members include Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Bruce Greenwood. The film will hit cinema screens on May 17, 2013.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.

Hopefully there’ll be an explanation as to why the timeline wasn’t reset after Vulcan has been destroyed. After all Starfleet has an entire division, that exists outside time, dedicated to making sure that nobody tampers with the timeline. You’d think they might notice this!

Starfleet’s temporal division can also go back in time and sort out my double post below too.
