King to narrate Dark Tower audiobook

March 6th, 2012 by bash Comments

Stephen King is to narrate The Wind Through the Keyhole for a new audiobook.

Simon & Schuster Audio said it would publish Keyhole,  the latest novel in the Dark Tower series, simultaneously with the Scribner hardcover and e-book April 24.

It is the first time in over a decade that the author has narrated a full-length audiobook.

The audiobook will also offer an exclusive audio preview of King reading from his novel Doctor Sleep, the eagerly awaited sequel to his classic The Shining, which is to be published in 2013.

“I’ve spent a lot of time with the character of Roland Deschain and the ‘Dark Tower’ universe over the years. Now that I am revisiting that world, it felt like a fine time to lend it my voice,” King said in a statement.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
