Kutcher to have a bite at Jobs role

April 1st, 2012 by bash Comments

Variety is reporting that Ashton Kutcher has landed the part of Apple founder Steve Jobs, in the upcoming indie biopic Jobs.

The movie will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote) from a screenplay by Matt Whiteley, and will use Jobs’ early days as a hippie as a starting point for the film.

Stern previously directed the 2005 Aaron Eckhart movie Neverwas, Kevin Costner’s political comedy Swing Vote and is attached to direct the R-rated Carnaval, teaming John Cusack and Johnny Knoxville.

Jobs died last year at the age of 56 from cancer.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
