‘Luck’ runs out for HBO series

March 16th, 2012 by Big Phil Comments

It’s official sports fans, Luck has been cancelled!

On Wednesday we posted that a third horse had died while filming the HBO series. It has now been confirmed that due to the deaths, executives have pulled the plug on the show.

The first season is currenly being broadcast and as filming was only part way through on the second it’s been confirmed that no further episodes will be completed.

This will surely come as a big blow to HBO as the time, money and talent involved in this production was huge. However, no amount of human effort is worth the expense of lives of the animals for the sole purpose of entertainment.

Lets hope though that we havent seen the last of Michael Mann in TV land.
