MacGyver movie gets a director

November 12th, 2012 by bash Comments

Variety are reporting that Saw and Insidious director James Wan is in talks to helm an adaptation of the 1980s TV series MacGyver.

An existing script by Jason Richman has recently been reworked by Brian and Mark Gunn so for all intents and purposes this actioner should be ready to go.

For those who don’t know, MacGyver centered around the title character (played by Richard Dean Anderson) bringing together random everyday objects in order to save the day.

No word yet on who will play the lead role or when the film will be released.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
