Bleeding Cool are reporting that Man of Steel will produce a different sort of Superman, compared to the Bryan Singer incarnation.

According to the site, next year’s movie will have an action scene showing our favourite son of Krypton kicking serious ass.

“The Superman Returns film was criticised by fans for its lack of action scenes, fights, feats of super strength and the like,” the story reads.

“No one doubted that Zack Snyder would reverse that. But I have been told details of one specific scene in particular, in which Superman breaks apart a building and uses the building itself as a weapon in some kind of ‘super martial art’ fashion. ‘Girders as throwing stars’ was the specific example I was given.”

As much as I quite liked Superman Returns I really hope we see Supes show what he’s made of in this next one.
