Shailene Woodley has bagged the role of Mary Jane Watson in the sequel to the Amazing Spider-Man, the Hollywood Reporter has claimed.
The actress will have a small role in the film which will eventually grow into an integral lead for the planned third movie as Sony seeks to build to the classic “Death of Gwen Stacy” story.
Woodley joins a returning Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, with the film set for release on May 2, 2014.
