ShiftyLook, Namco Bandai’s web-comic arm aims to bring back characters long forgotten in Namco Bandai’s back catalogue. One such title is Bravoman, first released in arcades in 1988. The original title, a platformer where the player controlled Bravoman, a hero with extendable limbs has now been brought back to life and can be read every Tuesday and Saturday. At MCM, ShiftyLook’s latest web-comic project was announced, Time Crisis (below). Written by the legendary Marv Wolfman (Creator of Marvel’s Blade and DC’s Teen Titans) and with art by JJ Kirby. At MCM, Marv said that he sucked so much at the game, he was looking forward to getting his own back on the baddies as he wrote the series. (continues after picture)
Another noticeable ShifyLook series, is their 30th Anniversary Dig Dug web-comic. Shiftylook writers and artists, are teaming up with the internet’s best web-comic creators to produce a series of tributes to Dig Dug. These started on May 23rd and can be read over at their site.
