Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance set for Expo appearance

January 20th, 2012 by bash Comments

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be playable in under five months despite not having a confirmed release date, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has claimed.

According to the latest issue the actioner will be playable at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo, which runs from June 5-7 in Los Angeles.

The game was originally announced and developed by Kojima Productions as Metal Gear Solid: Rising, an interquel action game set between the events of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, before being reannounced as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance under the development of Platinum Games

The game is now set to take place several years after Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and is a spinoff that is “not part of the Metal Gear Solid series”.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
