Billy Crytsal has been talking about Pixar’s upcoming prequel Monsters University with Entertainment Weekly.
The comedic actor revealed that Mike and Sully will become involved in a scare competition.
“[Mike and Sully] end up in the same fraternity where they have this scare competition — like Greek Games in college,” he said. “They have to mobilise a group, sort of like Revenge of the Nerds-monsters, and get them ready to be scary.
“They’re 17 and 18 years old in the script. My guy has a retainer, even.”
A synopsis for the film reads: Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. Monsters University unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.
Monsters University will be released on June 21, 2013.
