Moon composer to work on Noah

December 11th, 2012 by bash Comments

Moon composer Clint Mansell will score Darren Aronofsky’s biblical epic Noah, The Playlist has said.

The director confirmed the news at the Marrakech Film Festival.

“We’re about to start [on Noah] and I’m actually getting texts right now and I know it’s from [Mansell], complaining about something,” Aronofsky said.

“But he’s a genius too and he cares, he puts his heart and soul and his love into everything. And he’s unique – different from everyone else out there working. He’s able to boil down the thematic of a film into a melody, into two or three notes. He captures the whole essence of a film in two or three notes.”

Moon is one of FTN’s most favourite scores so this is welcome news.

Noah is set for release on March 28, 2014.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
