Movie adaptation for Metal Gear Solid

August 30th, 2012 by bash Comments

X-Men and Spider-Man producer Avi Arad has been brought on board to help bring gaming favourite Metal Gear Solid to the big screen.

Arad made the announcement at the Metal Gear 25th Anniversary presentation.

He said: “For many years I fought to bring comics to theaters – and video games are the comics of today.

“We will take our time and tell the story with all the nuances, ideology, cautionary tales needed.”

Arad is the founder of Marvel Studios and is presumably taking over from producer Michael De Luca, who was previously attached.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
