Irish actor to reprise role as Ra’s al Ghul in Nolan’s trilogy closer.
Liam Neeson WILL star in The Dark Knight Rises, it has been confirmed.
The Schindler’s List star, who played Ra’s al Ghul in Batman Begins, will, it seems, reprise his role as Batman’s nemesis.
Ahead of the release of Wrath of the Titans this weekend, Warner Bros. Pictures confirmed what we all suspected, in that the Northern Ireland-born actor will return to Christopher Nolan’s take on Batman.
Production notes by the studio for Titans said: “Neeson next appears in Peter Berg’s actioner “Battleship,” and he also will be seen in Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated action thriller “The Dark Knight Rises.”
The Dark Knight Rises opens in cinemas in July and also stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
