New composer for Skyfall – Arnold out?

David Arnold won’t be doing the score for Skyfall to his London 2012 commitments. The new Bond film will have Thomas Newman putting the music together, a great choice if his work with Sam Mendes on American Beauty is any indication. It’s the first time since Goldeneye that Bond will have someone other than Arnold composing the music, that time the honour fell to Eric Serra.
