It looks like there’s a new couple in the house, and it’s not Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders.
EW.com got the scoop from DC that Superman and Wonder Woman are going to be the new power couple. The hook up will be made official in the upcoming Justice League #12 and it doesn’t look to be a gimmick either. According to writer Geoff Johns: ” This is the new status quo.”
Apparently this new coupling will have implications that are to effect the DC Universe as a whole including heroes and villains. Only time will tell how exactly this will shake things up other than having fanboys upset that Clark is not looking to swoon Lois Lane, at least for the time being.
But it sounds like that’s what DC is looking to do as Jim Lee stated: ” Hopefully this will raise a lot of eyebrows. We welcome the water cooler chat.”
