New roles cast for S.H.I.E.L.D TV series

November 13th, 2012 by bash Comments

Two more roles have been cast in the forthcoming S.H.I.E.L.D TV series.

THR is reporting that Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker will join the already cast Clark Gregg (above) and Ming-Na.

Henstridge will play “science whiz” Agent Gemma Simmons, while De Caestecker is set as tech guru Agent Leo Fitz. The two “spend all their time together—mostly bickering—and are masters at a remarkably young age of their respective fields”.

Joss Whedon is writing the pilot episode alongside his brother Jed Whedon and Jed’s wife Maurissa Tancharoen, and he’ll also be directing as well. Should the pilot be picked up to series, the show will likely premiere next Autumn on ABC in the US.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
