Hellboy mastermind Guillermo De Toro has said that Pacific Rim, his forthcoming monster movie which is due to open in cinemas next summer, will not be in 3D.
The director said he believes it would lessen the impact of the monsters and settings portrayed, making their perspective human sized.
Pacific Rim sees legions of monsters rise from the deep to consume the planet and only giant robots are capable of defeating them. Expect a visual feast from this one.
