Oldman ‘panic’ over lost Batman script

March 26th, 2012 by bash Comments

Gary Oldman has told the BBC how he momentarily lost his script for The Dark Knight Rises.

The English actor, who plays Commissioner Gordon in Christopher Nolan’s take on Batman, said he was “half-thinking about something else” when he put it it under a matress but then forgot were it was.

“I was in a panic for 20 minutes,” he said. “I thought, ‘where the hell have I put it?'”

“It had my name on it. They would have killed me.”

The script eventually surfaced in his hotel room.

“I’d gone out for dinner,” the actor continued, “and I had put it in the room between the mattress and the bed, because I couldn’t scrunch it into the safe.”

The Dark Knight Rises is released in June.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
