Peter Dinklage spotted heading to set of X-Men: Days Of Future Past

May 26th, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

According to a Peter Dinklage Facebook fan page, these are photos of the actor heading to the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past (notice the crocs in the first pic) in Montreal, which seems to confirm that his character, will be part of the 1970s storyline rather than the future timeline. It’s the moustache and now the hair which has led many fans to speculate that he’ll be playing Sentinels creator Bolivar Trask. This might lead to some continuity issues with X-Men: The Last Stand as actor Bill Duke (below) was playing Trask, no mention of his first name so they could possibly say it was his son Larry Trask. It seems Fox and Singer are trying to gloss over The Last Stand as it never happened, funny because in The Wolverine, Logan has a flashback of Jean, and is possibly dealing with her death.

Anyway let us know what you think is this movie changing too much? Too many characters?

Or do you have complete faith in Singer?

“The film will be based on the comic book storyline “Days of Future Past,” which ran in Uncanny X-Men #141 and 142 back in 1981 during Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s run and introduced the idea of an alternate future for Marvel’s mutants that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator, leading to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels.”

Singer has managed to gather an impressive cast which also includes James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, Omar Sy, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto and Evan Peters.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to be released in theaters on July 18, 2014.
