Portal 2 wins best game at Bafta awards

Valve’s Portal 2 was named best game at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ (Bafta) Video Games Awards on Thursday evening.

The first-person puzzle-platform title also won awards for best design and best story.

Josh Weier, Portal 2’s project leader, said it had been “a real pleasure working on this game” and that it was amazing to win the awards.

Elsewhere, Battlefield 3 won best online multiplayer game, Batman: Arkham City was named best for action and Little Big Planet 2 for game innovation.
