Hordes Get Skorned.
A few upcoming releases from Privateer Press.
Skorne players now have a starter set to get you on the road.
From the distant east come the skorne, a race of merciless warriors bent on enslaving or destroying all before them. At Lord Tormentor Morghoul’s command, brutal cyclops savages rush forward to hew their foes with mighty two-handed falchions, while the massive titan gladiator slams into the enemy with the weight and fury of a living siege engine.
Contents: This starter box contains quick start rules and a complete battlegroup of four plastic models and corresponding stat cards for HORDES including:
Master Tormentor Morghoul Warlock
2 Cyclops Savage Light Warbeasts
Titan Gladiator Heavy Warbeast
Skorne Titan Cannonneer/Gladiator/Sentry.
The Titan is the main Warbeast of Skornewith excess to a range of weapons to suit various battle field rolls.
Favored warbeasts of the skorne, the versatile titans can be conditioned and equipped for a variety of battlefield roles. The titan gladiator is armed with massive spiked war gauntlets and uses its weapons and its armored body to pulverize enemy troops and warbeasts. The titan cannoneer is a mobile siege engine, blasting apart enemy formations with its gargantuan siege cannon. Finally, the titan sentry is a living wall, immovable and nearly impervious to enemy attacks behind its heavy shield and thick armor.
Skorne Cyclops Raider (plastic)
The cyclops raider is a terrifying sight—an eight-foot-tall brute capable of unleashing torrents of razor-sharp steel. The few who survive the excruciating hail of the raider’s heavy reiver are dispatched by crushing blows of its spiked gauntlets. The raider’s proficiency at arms is greatly enhanced by its natural prescient abilities. It can train its weapon on even the best-hidden enemies and annihilate them in a burst of fire before they have time to react.
Skorne Siege Animantarax
The Skorne Siege Animanterax is an almost unstoppable beast of destruction.
Lumbering inexorably across the battlefield, animantaraxes are living siege engines. The ornate houdaas atop their backs bristle with veteran crews of Praetorians wielding spears and Venators manning double-combed reiver guns. Incoming fire serves only to enrage these giant beasts, and their handlers gladly indulge their anger and watch with grim satisfaction as the behemoths smash through their foes and deliver death to everything within reach.
