Salt sequel to get rewrite

December 10th, 2012 by bash Comments

Columbia Pictures has hired Becky Johnston to work on a script for a sequel to spy thriller Salt.

Kurt Wimmer started work on a follow-up to the Phillip Noyce-helmed thriller back in June but this was rejected, with star Angelina Jolie not keen on were it was headed.

No firm word on what the follow-up will entail however Noyce has already declined to return for the sequel, and Jolie’s involvement will hinge on how the script turns out.

Johnston is probably best known for penning the romantic drama The Prince of Tides as well as Seven Years in Tibet.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
