The planned reboot of the Ninja Turtles franchise has been postponed, The Hollywood Reporter has claimed.
The film, which was being produced by Michael Bay, had been in pre-production in Vancouver, and was set for release in December 2013.
However, the trade said production has now been shut down with the release date being pushed back to May 2014 after concerns over the script.
Ninja Turtles is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans) from a script by Kevin Eastman and Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.
