Shaun of the Dead Lego?! Find out how to make it a reality (plus awesome pics! And a video)

April 4th, 2012 by Marc Comments

So, back in December some really cool fan-made Lego figures popped up online for one of FTN’s favourite movies, Shaun of the Dead

Now, normally we wouldn’t imagine Lego making sets for a movie about flesh-hungry zombies, but here’s the deal, Simon Pegg has now got behind the project and is pushing for it to happen. Dubbed ‘The Winchester Project’ after the pub in the movie, Lego will only entertain the idea of 10,000 people go to their website and ask for a Shaun of the Dead Lego collection!

So, what are you waiting for? Go!
We at FTN can just imagine Shaun figures around our monitors… let’s get it done. How would that be for a slice of fried gold?

Meanwhile, sit back and enjoy Pegg on the Conan O’Brien show talking about the Lego and a rather mean trick he played on his Twitter fans…

Thanks to Collider for the pics

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
