Everyone we know, well nearly everyone, loves ‘Family Guy’, but for me personally, while I do love the Griffins, I find ‘The Cleveland Show’ much funnier and very, very different. And as a big fan of ‘Breaking Bad’ and actor Bryan Cranston (who we want as Commissioner Gordon if there’s ever a new Batman franchise, but that’s for another post), this news was welcomed indeed.
Bryan Cranston, reports TV Line, will be appearing in ‘The Cleveland Show’ as not one character, but two. They say, ‘in the Feb. 19 episode of the Fox ‘toon, Cleveland and Rallo form a father and son ventriloquist act, which gets rave reviews from critic Graham Kensington’ (voiced by Cranston, below).
“Working with Bryan was extremely disappointing. He wasn’t bald, said he couldn’t actually cook meth, and I’m pretty sure he took a bottle of water without asking,” said Cleveland executve producer Mike Henry, referencing Cranston’s ‘Breaking Bad’ character Walter White.
TV Line also reported that Cranston will be directing an episode of our favourite comedy show ‘Modern Family’ next season. And on top of that, he will also be a recurring character in ‘The Cleveland Show’ next season as the Brown family physician Dr Fist, a man with a dark secret.
