Star Trek in the way of Cloverfield sequel

March 8th, 2012 by bash Comments

Cloverfield writer Drew Goddard has said he’d love to work on a sequel to the JJ Abrams produced monster movie.

Speaking to’s Shock Till You Drop, Goddard said he was “ready to do it”.

“Someone call JJ and tell him to get moving, but because Matt (Reeves, the director) and JJ and I have been fortunate enough to be busy, it’s hard syncing our schedules up,” he said. “We’re all very passionate about returning to that world.

“If you asked each of us what we wanted to do, you’ll get three different answers, which is how the first film was. The aesthetic of Cloverfield benefits from that. Three voices pulling it. Look, nothing would make me happier than to get the three of us in the room to get started.” He added with a laugh, “But you’ve got this Star Trek thing…”

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
